Grab to pause planned changes to driver incentive scheme

Move comes after discussions with NPHVA.

Grab has announced it will halt planned changes to its Streak Bonus and Streak Zones incentive programmes with immediate effect, following feedback from its driver-partner community and consultations with the National Private Hire Vehicle Association (NPHVA).

The move comes in response to concerns raised after the company announced a revised incentive structure aimed at reducing driving hours.

Grab acknowledged that the rollout could have been better managed and said the decision to pause the changes was made to allow for further review.

“There will be no change to the existing Grab Streak Bonus and Streak Zones programmes,” the company said in a message to drivers.

Grab added that it is committed to working more closely with driver-partners and NPHVA moving forward to ensure feedback is better reflected in future updates.

The company also confirmed that its upcoming “Grab-a-Drink” driver engagement session will continue as planned, with updated venue details to be shared with confirmed participants.
