LTA launches webpage providing real-time MRT, LRT updates

Commuters to benefit from improved rail information tool.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has launched a webpage that provides real-time updates on service disruptions of all MRT and LRT lines.

Accrding to LTA, London and Paris were the basis for the implementation of the mytransport.sg/trainstatus. There will be a color-coded indicator of the types of delay, yellow for minor delays and orange for major delays. Minor delays refer to incidents that can be resolved within 30 minutes, whilst major delays pertain to disruptions that require more than 30 minutes to fix.

LTA said the MRT retained its overall high reliability performance, with slight improvement of 0.12% for end-October 2025.

All MRT lines also saw an increase in Mean Kilometres Between Failure since end-September 2025, except for a slight drop for the Circle Line.

Meanwhile, there were no delays exceeding 30 minutes on all lines in Oct 2025.

The Thomson-East Coast Line is included in the November 2025 report for the first time for the new performance indicators, showing high reliability despite ongoing construction. Its performance is expected to stabilise and improve when the line fully opens in 2026.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
