NETS launches in-app payments for ComfortDelGro taxis

Consumers will be able to use their NETS bank cards to pay for the trips.

Electronic payments service provider NETS and ComfortDelGro (CDG) Taxi have jointly launched NETS Click, an in-app payment method for taxi booking and street hail trips made through the CDG taxi booking app, according to a press release.

The service enables consumers to use their NETS bank cards from DBS, OCBC and UOB to pay for their bookings and trips.

The partnership with CDG Taxi reportedly marks the first time consumers can store NETS payment details on file to use their NETS bank card as an in-app payment mode.

NETS also shared plans to partner with online merchants to integrate NETS Click into their in-app payment process.
