Indiabulls Properties Investment Trust appoints Pankaj Thukral as CEO

He was previously the Chief Financial Officer since June 2008.

The Board of Indiabulls Properties Investment Trust (IPIT) announced the appointment of Pankaj Thukral as Chief Executive Officer.

As CEO, Mr Thukral will work with the Board to determine the strategy for IPIT. He will also work with the other members of the Trustee-Manager’s management team, to meet strategic, investment, and operational objectives of IPIT. Additionally, the Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for planning the future strategic development and the day-to-day operations of IPIT.

Mr. Thukral has been the Chief Financial Officer of trustee-manager for over 4 years and is a long serving member of the Indiabulls Real Estate Group with extensive experience in financial and management aspects of real estate in India.

He served as Chief Financial Officer of the Trustee-Manager working closely with the Chief Executive Officer of the Trustee-Manager, according to an Indiabulls Properties Investment Trust report.

Before joining the Trustee Manager, Mr Thukral was the Vice President —Finance of Indiabulls Real Estate Limited (Sponsor). Mr. Thukral was responsible for overseeing the financial and operational aspects related to the construction of the properties which form IPIT’s initial asset portfolio.
