OCBC appoints Ooi Sang Kuang as Director

His qualification and experience was given merit by the Nominating Committee.

The Board of OCBC has constantly been on the watch for talent to contribute to the Group at the Board level. The appointment of Dato' Ooi, a well-qualified and experienced individual, complements the competencies and skills of present Board members. His nomination as an independent director of OCBC Bank was made by the Nominating Committee, and approved by the Board, according to an OCBC report.

He was a Special Advisor (July 2010 - December 2011) and Deputy Governor (June 2002 - June 2010) of Bank Negara Malaysia.
