Treasury China Trust names Xu Sitao as Director

The Company believed that Mr Xu's appointment will enhance the existing knowledge and skill set of the Board.

The Board of Treasury China Trust (TCT) announced the appointment of Xu Sitao as Director.

The Board is of the opinion that given Mr. Xu's experience and profile within China, his appointment to the Board of the Trustee-Manager will enhance the existing knowledge and skill set of the Board as well as complementing the TCT business model, according to a Treasury China Trust report. 

Mr Xu, 48, Chief Representative, China; China Director, Global Forecast, EIU, Director of China Corporate Advisory, EIU for the Economist Group in China from 2004 to present. Prior to this, he was Senior Economist for Industrial & Commercial Bank of China, Asia in Hong Kong from 2003 to 2004. He was also Chief Economist (Non-Japan Asia) for Societe Generale in Hong Kong from 2000 to 2003.
