Zestora mobile app is telehealth at everyone's disposal

Everyday pain conditions can now be easily addressed.

Singaporean consumers are in need for cost-effective solutions for common chronic pain conditions (i.e. arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, tears, slip discs, and sports injuries).

Even today in the modern age of medicine, many people still suffer from chronic pain that is not optimally treated. According to the Ministry of Health (MOH) in 2010, middle-aged Singaporeans have a significantly worse quality of life due to musculoskeletal conditions.

With generally poor retail store sales in Singapore coupled with the shift to e-Commerce and m-Commerce, it is not just typical electronics and fashion but also healthcare products that are bought online. With major initiatives like Silver Infocomm Curriculum, senior citizens are getting in on the action just like the youth.

To match the MOH's emphasis on active aging and telehealth, a mobile pain relief solutions app, called ‘ Zestora ’ was created by Daryl Li, co-founder and physiotherapist at The Pain Relief Practice. It curates the best pain relief solutions from around the world, provides practical advice, and delivers cost-effective solutions to users’ doorsteps.

Zestora is created to ensure affordable mobile health solutions is available at everyone's disposal.

App creator Daryl Li's passion for pain relief grew out of personal experience. Having spent well over a decade treating patients suffering from pain, Li developed his special interest by introducing new non-invasive pain solutions, tissue repair technologies, and now the Zestora pain management app to Singapore.

Zestora is an easy three-step process for users. First, find best-in-class treatments from all around the world. Second, pick the ones needed and they will be processed immediately for delivery. Third, if unsure, contact the panel of in-house medical experts to make a recommendation and allowing users to contact a physiotherapist directly.

"This app is particularly useful for Singaporean’s with limited mobility and hence limited access to medical care. They can now get top grade pain relief products in the comfort of their own homes. While Zestora is newly launched in Singapore, it has seen downloads and active users from Malaysia, Brunei, Australia, United Kingdom and the USA," Li said.

The Zestora app is free to download - available on both AppStore and Google Play.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
