Welspun Corporation names Braja K. Mishra as Managing Director
He is expected to improve the Company's performance.
Welspun Corporation announced the appointment of Braja K. Mishra as Managing Director. The Board expressed hope that under the new stint of Mr. Mishra, the Company would improve its performance and achieve growth.
Mr Mishra, 49, will be in charge of overseeing day-to-day business operations of the Company and its subsidiary, according to a Welspun Corporation report.
Mr. Braja K. Mishra has more than 25 years of experience in the Oil and Gas and Steel Pipe industry. He was associated with the Company from June, 1996 (joined as General Manager) to March, 2009 (resigned as CEO and ED) and played a major role in the growth of the Company’s business. Prior to joining the Company now as the Managing Director, he was the CEO and Managing Director of Ferro Tech India Private Limited.
