Cosco Corp names Liu Lian An as Executive Director

Mr. Liu will be assigned to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of Cosco's governance process.

The Board of Cosco announced the appointment of Liu Lian An as Executive Director. Mr. Liu was nominated after a selection process.

Mr. Liu will be responsible for the workings of the Board, ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of its governance process, according to a Cosco report.

He was General Manager of China COSCO Bulk Division, from April 2008 to the present and Vice General Manager of COSCO Bulk from February 2001 to April 2008.
