Chart of the Day: Check out the notable hotel land sales in 2018-2019

Midtown Development secured the Club Street site for more than half a billion dollars.

This chart from JLL Singapore reveals four notable hotel land transactions for the year, led by the Club Street Site, which Midtown Development bought for $562m in January.

This translates to a sale price of $23,126.29 psf of the gross floor area (GFA) of the site.

Golden Wall Centre has the second highest price tag amongst the properties. It sold en bloc for $276.2m to Worldwide Hotels subsidiary City View Holdings in November last year.

Rounding up the list are Min Yuan Apartments, which Fragrance Group bought in September for a total consideration of $141m; and Waterloo Apartments, which sold to Fragrance Victory last December 2018, rounded up the list with a $131m price tag.
