Chart of the Day: Data centres lead S-REITs' NPI growth

Their net property income grew 42.1% in Q3.

This chart from OCBC Investment Research shows the S-REIT's data centre subsector posted the highest net property income (NPI) growth of 42.1% in Q3.

Healthcare REITs performed the weakest with only 2% growth. Meanwhile, in terms of distribution per unit (DPU) growth, hospitality REITs fared the worst with a 10.8% decline.

Amongst other subsectors, NPI growth was moderate for industrial REITs at 4.8%, retail REITs at 4%, and office REITs at 2.4%.

Overall, S-REITs showed a 4.8% NPI growth and a 0.2% decline in distributable income.
