US-Israel-Iran conflict bruises 92% of Singaporeans: poll
Most respondents report at least some impact from ongoing conflict.
Most Singaporeans said they have been affected by the ongoing US-Israel–Iran conflict, according to YouGov’s Public Sentiment Tracker, as global tensions continue to weigh on consumer sentiment.
The survey found that 26% of respondents said they were extremely or very affected by the conflict, whilst 37% described themselves as moderately affected.
A further 29% said they were slightly affected, and 8% reported no impact.
Awareness of the conflict was high, with 93% of Singapore respondents saying they were familiar with the situation.
Elevated energy costs are expected to persist into the second half of the year due to stalled US-Iran talks in early April, which may keep price pressures elevated for businesses and households, according to analysts.
The findings are based on responses collected by YouGov from 1,022 Singaporean adults aged 18 and above, collected in April 2026.
