Business receipts grow 6.3% in Q3

Business receipts rose across all services industries.

Overall business receipts grew by 6.3% YoY in Q3, the Department of Statistics Singapore (SingStat) revealed.

On a non-seasonally adjusted quarterly basis, receipts grew by 0.9%.

All services industries performed better in Q3, with the information & communications services industry leading the growth at 13.6%.

Similarly, business receipts rose for the health & social services, which rose 9.2%, and financial & insurance services, which rose 7.4%.

Amongst industries, transport & storage services also grew 5.9%, followed by business services at 4.1%, and recreation & personal services at 2.8%.
