The Ministry of Finance opens Budget 2026 consultation as feedback begins

They seek views across several broad themes that include strengthening the economy through entrepreneurship.

The Ministry of Finance (MOF) has opened its public consultation for Budget 2026, inviting feedback from 2 December 2025 to 12 January 2026.

The Budget is scheduled to be delivered in February.

Members of the public can submit views through the Singapore Budget website, the REACH Budget 2026 microsite, REACH’s Facebook and Instagram channels, and People’s Association (PA)  ShareYourViews platforms, both online and at heartland locations.

REACH will also hold an in-person pre-Budget Listening Point on 21 January 2026 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at Geneo.

MOF, REACH, and PA said they are seeking views across several broad themes. These include strengthening the economy through entrepreneurship, competitiveness, and AI adoption.

They also seek those that secure good jobs through skills upgrading, stronger employer support for career development, and help seniors stay productive, and that uplift Singaporeans by improving support for children, seniors, and persons with disabilities.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
