Here's a bite of the longest bread and butter pudding at Royal Plaza on Scotts

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Royal Plaza on Scotts is gathering the team of chefs behind its award-winning buffet restaurant, Carousel, to create the longest bread and butter pudding in Singapore. The culinary feat will boast 30 metres of the hotel’s signature bread and butter pudding, which recipe is as old as the hotel.

3000 portions of the bread and butter pudding will also be given out to the public. Guests are invited to donate-as-you-wish to Metta Preschool @ Punggol, a beneficiary of Community Chest. Donations will be matched $1-to-$1 as part of the Care & Share movement.

Royal Plaza on Scotts, which was awarded Best Employer 2013 by Aon Hewitt, will also be holding a recruitment drive in conjunction with this event. Interested candidates are encouraged to find out more and submit their résumés to Human Resources on the day to receive a portion of the bread and butter pudding.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
