Loco Spanish Tapas Bar opens in Singapore

Loco Spanish Tapas Bar offers an executive set lunch at S$9.99.

With a panoramic view of the picturesque historical Singapore river front, Boat Quay, the new Loco Spanish Tapas Bar offers diners a variety of creative noshes as a light snack or entire meal in an upscale, yet non-pretentious outlet that also serves as a watering hole.

Combining scrumptious meat, seafood and vegetarian plates, not to mention desserts, Loco’s recommendations include Cordero al Ajo (rack of lamb spiced with garlic and aromatic herbs); Tabla de Qessos (assorted cheese platter); Paella Valenciana, a signature dish with chorizo, chicken, seafood, and vegetables cooked slowly with the chef’s secret homemade broth. Gambas al Ajillo (shrimps sautéed in garlic and olive oil) is also another of the Chef’s recommended specialty.

Signature drinks include red and yellow Sangria, boasting fresh fruits, brandy and wine. The drinks menu also includes Mojitos, Margaritas, a selection of draft and bottled beer, cocktails and wine. Customers are served free tapas with orders of beer.

Loco Spanish Tapas Bar also offers an executive set lunch at S$9.99 as well as an a la carte menu featuring both hot and cold tapas as entrees and bigger meals such as paella as mains.

Loco’s décor features stools and high tables on the first floor. Imbued with Spanish motif, it features a relaxing hue of colour schemes, accentuated by vibrant and energetic custom artworks overlaying distressed wooden furniture. Food and drinks can also be served alfresco by the side of the river.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
