F&B sales fall 2.0% MoM in November despite 3.9% YoY growth

Three industries reported MoM declines.

Food and beverage (F&B) sales grew by 3.9 YoY in November, extending the 3.9% YoY growth recorded in October.

Month-on-month, however, sales dipped by 2.0%.

Sales value clocked in at $970m. Of the total sales value, 24.7% was from online sales.

According to the Department of Statistics Singapore (Singstat), all industries recorded year-on-year sales growth in November, led by  Food Caterers, which posted a 19.7 YoY increase.

Restaurants, Cafes, Food Courts and Other Eating Places, and Fast Food Outlets recorded increases of 2.2% YoY, 2.3% YoY, and 1.4% YoY, respectively.
