SGX-ST approves ThaiBev’s market cap benchmark for FY2026

As of 30 September 2025, the group’s market capitalisation stood at $11.68b.

Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (THBEV) has received confirmation from the SGX-ST to continue using its market capitalisation as the basis for computing materiality thresholds for the financial year ending 30 September 2026.

The thresholds are set out under Rules 905 and 906 of the SGX Listing Manual, according to a bourse filing dated 29 January.

As of 30 September 2025, THBEV’s market capitalisation stood at approximately $11.68b, whilst its consolidated net tangible assets remained significantly lower.

The company submitted that using market capitalisation would provide a more meaningful benchmark for the thresholds.

Market capitalisation will be calculated based on the average of THBEV’s daily capitalisation for the last month of the immediately preceding financial year.

The calculation uses the total number of shares, excluding treasury shares, multiplied by the volume-weighted average price of the shares on SGX-ST for each trading day.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
