Hotel rates edge higher in Q1 as February drives gains
STB data shows mixed monthly performance across ARR, occupancy, and RevPAR.
Average room rates in Singapore hotels rose 1.6% year-on-year (YoY) to $274.96 in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, according to Singapore Tourism Board (STB) data released on 30 April, with January seeing a mild dip whilst February figures improved due to Chinese New Year timing.
In January, average room rate (ARR) was $269.81, down 1% from a year earlier. February recorded the strongest monthly level at $289.41, up 5.4%, whilst March edged higher by 0.5% to $265.80, according to STB data.

Revenue per available room (RevPAR) showed a similar pattern. It fell 1.2% YoY to $220.41 in January, before rising to $253.97 in February, up 10.3%. March RevPAR came in at $213.25, up 5.8% from a year earlier.
Occupancy averaged 83.09% in Q1 2026, compared with 80.54% a year earlier. STB data showed February as the strongest month, whilst January and March were comparatively softer.
Available room nights were 2.02 million in January, 1.85 million in February and 2.05 million in March.
