Singapore's last-ever Green Corridor Run slated in 2016

The 2016 Green Corridor Run will be the last edition of the iconic event before the area is closed until 2019 for the construction of the Murnane pipeline.

Organisers said that after the pipeline is completed, it is expected that the green corridor will undergo some or all of the transformations currently being proposed in the URA’s master plan.

The inaugural Green Corridor Run in 2013 was the first race to be held entirely on the former KTM rail line after Singapore re-claimed the land from Malaysia. In the first three years of the event, over 20,000 people from 72 nationalities have participated in the Green Corridor Run. An additional 10,000 people are expected to participate in the final race to be
held on 6th March, 2016.

The 2016 race is again being held in conjunction with Singapore’s World Water Day celebrations. World Water Day celebrations in Singapore are celebrated throughout the month of March.

Registration for all race categories can be completed at www.greencorridorrun.com.sg.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
