Singapore resignation rate hits 2%.

According to MoM, both the average monthly recruitment and resignation rates stabilised in the first quarter of 2013. The seasonally adjusted recruitment and resignation rates were 2.8% and 2.0% respectively, unchanged from the fourth quarter of 2012.

On a non-seasonally adjusted basis, the recruitment rate at 2.7% and resignation rate at 2.1% were the same as a year ago. Industries with the highest turnover included retail trade (recruitment: 4.8%; resignation: 5.0%), food & beverage services (4.5%; 4.5%), security & investigation (6.4%; 4.2%) and cleaning & landscaping (4.9%; 4.4%).
