IMDA expands TIP Alliance for fresh graduates eyeing tech careers
A new pathway offers practical training in public sector systems.
The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) is set to expand the TeSA for ITE and Polytechnics (TIP) Alliance to include local information and digital technology university graduates.
TIP Alliance+ will introduce a Government Tech Pathway developed with GovTech and the Singapore Computer Society.
The pathway will provide students with practical training in areas such as governance, compliance, and public-sector systems.
The programme will also launch a ‘Tech Elevation and Career Hub’ in partnership with NTUC’s e2i (Employment and Employability Institute).
In addition, the IMDA is working with industry partners to introduce pathways that incorporate ‘bite-sized’ modules to build specialised technical skills alongside domain knowledge across different sectors.
The expanded programme builds on the TIP Alliance initiative introduced in 2022.
