Singapore launches skills framework for ICT

It covers 119 job roles and 80 skills in the ICT sector.

Singapore launched an ICT skills framework (SF) for companies and workers, covering 119 job roles and 80 skills in the sector.

According to a press release, the framework is a guide on ICT skills and employment opportunities that maps out career pathways across seven tracks.

Through the framework, users can identify opportunities in education and training and plan their career.

Eleven companies were the first to use the framework, namely, Accenture, Aptiv8, Cyber Security Agency, DBS Bank, GovTech, Integrated Health Information Systems (IHiS), i-SPRINT, PSA Corporation, Quann, Singtel, and UrbanFox.
