Average Singaporean could afford latest iPhone in just a week

The average gross monthly wage in the country is $6,622.

Singaporeans would only need to work for 6.7 days to afford the latest iPhone release, a report by Picodi.com found.

This is less than the 7.6 days they had to work for last year to buy the new iPhone.

The average salary in the Lion City is $6,622 gross monthly or $5,146 net, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Power.

The iPhone 15 Pro with 128 gigabytes of storage costs around $1,649, the same as last year.

Citizens from Switzerland would only have to work the shortest amount of time of 4.2 days to afford the new iPhone.

Turkey ranked last as its citizens would have to work for 123.7 days to afford the new phone, followed by the Philippines at 79.5 days, and Brazil at 66.6 days.
