Singapore emerges as 4th biggest data centre market

Data centres in Singapore have a combined capacity of 876 MW.

Singapore is the biggest data centre market in Southeast Asia and fourth in the world, according to data from Harrison & Hunter Agency Partners.

As of 2023, Singapore’s data centres have a measured capacity of 876 MW.

Globally, there are over 8,000 data centres. 

The biggest data centre market in the world is Northern Virginia, United States, with nearly 300 data centres and a  combined power consumption capacity of 2,552 MW.

China ranked second with a measured capacity of 1,799 MW.
