Startup funding reaches $214m in April to May period
Latest data follows record $2.97b funding haul in Q1 2026
Singapore startups raised $214m between 1 April and 31 May 2026, according to data from market intelligence platform Tracxn.
Looking at completed quarters, startup funding reached a record $2.97b in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026. Other high-funding periods included Q1 2024 at $2.03b, Q4 2024 at $2.03b, and Q3 2025 at $1.99b.
The lowest full-quarter reading was $438m in Q2 2024. Across the period, funding was consistently stronger in Q1 quarters compared with mid-year quarters.
The latest funding activity was led by Silicon Box, which secured $150m. Other notable deals included Simple Chain at $15m, Biobot Surgical at $7.8m, Brano Therapeutics ($6.8m), and Atlas ($6m).
Tracxn's data also showed activity from investors including Vertex Ventures, EDBI, and ZIG Ventures.
Incubators participating in deals during the period included Betatron Venture Group and Iterative.
