CapitaLand Investment announces leadership changes

CLI appointed new senior and executive officers.

CapitaLand Investment (CLI) announced new senior and executive appointments as part of its leadership renewal.

CLI has appointed Yvonne Siew as managing director and head of product development and wealth markets, private capital markets, with effect from 22 January. 

Siew will be responsible for leading product development, client services, and marketing communications for CLI’s private funds as well as the growth of CLI’s private wealth business.

Yong Su-Lin will assume the position of chief executive officer (CEO) of CapitaLand Malaysia REIT Management (CMRM), the manager of CapitaLand Malaysia Trust (CLMT), on 1 February.

Yong will be responsible for leading the management team in the planning and execution of CLMT’s growth and operational strategies.

Tan Choon Siang will be appointed deputy CEO of CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust Management Limited, the manager of CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust (CICT), on 1 February. He will assist the CEO in managing all aspects of CICT’s business.

Suzanne Spells was also appointed as general counsel on 1 January. She is responsible for the delivery of legal and corporate secretariat services to the businesses of CLI.

CLI also appointed Gerry Chan as the CEO of CapitaLand China Trust Management, the manager of CapitaLand China Trust (CLCT), effective from 1 January, replacing Tan Tze Wooi, who was appointed group chief risk officer of CLI.

In addition, CLI appointed Ervin Yeo as CEO of commercial management, on 1 January. He is concurrently CLI’s Group chief strategy officer.

“These appointments will enhance our private and listed fund management capabilities, further strengthening CLI’s position as a leading global real asset manager,”  Lee Chee Koon, group CEO of CLI said.
