Digital Core REIT names new board chairman

It also appointed a new non-independent director and chief financial officer.

Digital Core REIT has appointed non-independent director David Lucey as the Chairman of the Board of Digital Core REIT Management, effective 1 October.

In a disclosure, Digital Core Reit noted that Lucey recently served as the interim managing director, Asia Pacific, and has also held other posts such as senior vice preside, Portfolio Management for Digital Realty and led the leasing and financial management of the Sponsor’s portfolio in North America.

He will replace Jeff Tapley who will now serve as the Digital Realty’s chief commercial operations officer.

Digital Core REIT has also named Serene Nah as a non-independent Director who will join the Board of the Manager starting on 1 October.

Nah became part of Digital Realty in January as managing director, head of Asia Pacific. She was previously the  Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer for Kerry Properties, Head of Asia-Portfolio Management for Silverlake Partners, and a CFO of GE Capital Greater China. 

Dave Craft, the vice president, Acquisition for Digital Realty, was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer. He will lead all financial functions of the Manager which include financial reporting, capital markets, tax, investor relations, financial planning, and analysis. He will replace Daniel Tith who will return to the U to head Digital Realty’s Global Finance.
