Singapore deal volume drop 17.6% in 10M 2024

Overall APAC deal volume dipped 4.8%.

Singapore's mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, and venture financing deals volume from January to October dropped 17.6% year-on-year (YoY), GlobalData reported.

According to GlobalData, Singapore was not the only market to experience a decline.

Markets such as China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Indonesia also recorded YoY declines by 22.9%, 14.4%, 13.9% and 33%, respectively.

Activity in the other region also fell 4.8% YoY to 11,808 from 12,406 deals a year ago.
