S-REITs post negative returns in January

Total returns of S-REITs were at -4.6%.

Singapore’s Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) ended January with -4.6% in total returns.

In January, retail investors net bought $195.6m of S-REITs, whilst institutional investors net sold $192.6m.

The total returns for January translate to a drop from 2023 when the iEdge S-REIT Index returned 6.6%.

In 2023, the iEdge S-REIT Index rebounded close to 20% in total returns from its lows at the end of October.
