This ad campaign injects human touch in logistics

They're taking their jobs seriously.

FedEx recently released an advertising campaign called “FedEx. Solutions Powered by People.” According to Khoo Seng-Thiam, Managing Director, FedEx Express Singapore, the campaign highlights the above-and-beyond dedication of its members around the world and demonstrates how these daily actions keep business moving for companies large and small.

The concept was made to appeal to small and medium-size customers. He also said, "By emphasizing this culture in the 'FedEx. Solutions powered by people.' campaign, we are able to highlight the best of what FedEx has to offer customers through the lens of the team that delivers for them each and every day.

"We believe that this “human touch” message resonates with the small and medium customers. The “Solutions Powered by People” campaign gives multinational businesses and small-medium enterprises (SMEs) around the world an insight into the dedication of FedEx team members when it comes to powering the world of global logistics," Khoo Seng-Thiam added.

Print and online advertising in local markets across the Asia Pacific region started in November 2012. The campaign is supported by a series of pages on the fedex.com website.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
