Healthway Medical expands with Bridgepoint Health buy

It will add 16 clinics and lift annual patient capacity above 1.3 million visits.

Healthway Medical Group plans to acquire Bridgepoint Health, expanding its primary care network by 16 clinics across Singapore.

The proposed acquisition will increase Healthway's primary care footprint and add 75 healthcare professionals to its network.

Following the acquisition, the enlarged group is expected to handle more than 1.3 million patient visits annually across its clinics and medical centres.

Healthway CEO Abram Suhardiman said the acquisition supports the group's focus on primary and community-based care.

He added that the combined organisation will be "better positioned to support patients across their healthcare journey and meet Singapore's evolving healthcare needs."

Bridgepoint Health CEO Michael Coleman said the transaction aligns with Bridgepoint Health's long-term strategy.

He added that the transition positions the organisation "to grow sustainably, to scale responsibly, and to deepen the impact we can make in primary care."

The proposed acquisition remains subject to customary closing conditions.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
