Mauritius court appoints liquidator for Singtel's HOOQ

This comes after HOOQ commenced a creditors’ voluntary liquidation on 27 March.

Singtel has announced that the Bankruptcy Division of the Supreme Court of Mauritius granted the petition for lawyer Anjeev Hurry to be the provisional liquidator of video streaming service HOOQ Digital Mauritius.

This comes after HOOQ commenced a creditors’ voluntary liquidation on 27 March, assigning Lim Siew Soo and Brendon Yeo Sau Jin as its joint and several provisional liquidators.

HOOQ is a joint venture company where Singtel holds an indirect 76.5% effective interest.
