Far East Hospitality opens first ‘Quincy-curated’ serviced apartments

The 255-unit property is popular among tourists and business travellers.

Far East Hospitality has opened its ninth serviced apartment in Singapore, catering to business travellers, vacationers, and families.

Quincy House Singapore, a 255-unit property within Holland Village, offers the amenities of a hotel and comfort of an apartment, and features “Quincy Qurates” — a tailored guide to experiences available around the area.

“The guide features three complementary tracks designed to reflect different personalities and preferences,” Joycel Yang, general manager for serviced residences, told Singapore Business Review.

“Whether guests seek cultural exploration, wish to savor life’s finer moments, or crave high-energy excitement, Quincy House offers something for everyone,” she said via Zoom.

Quincy Qurates also offers an "Adventure Day Kit" by Quincy Qurators that is chargeable and where guests are introduced to the latest cafes and Instagrammable spots in Singapore through an e-guide.

Quincy House provides amenities suitable to both solo travellers and families, from coworking tables to a barbeque lounge and a 20-metre rooftop pool.

To accommodate the busy schedule of professionals and active families, Quincy House provides 24-hour facilities and services such as its Munchies Bar, a fitness room and guest services, Yang said. “Business travellers and leisure guests alike will appreciate the complimentary weekday grab-and-go breakfast service.”

Far East Hospitality capitalised on the trend of serviced residences by expanding beyond the central business district and choosing Holland Village to preserve a blend of “residential tranquility and access to vibrant cultural and leisure spots.”

“Its unique location also places the property near one of Singapore’s key innovation hubs — One-North, which is one of Singapore’s research and development clusters, fostering growth in high-tech industries and research,” Yang said.

Holland Village offers residents convenient access to dining, retail, and entertainment.

Within walking distance is One Holland Village, a pet-friendly mall that houses several food and beverage restaurants. “If they are missing a taste of home and find it difficult to find groceries from their home country, Quincy House is located near Little Farms, which brings in a curated selection of international products.”

Situated near key business hubs such as One-North and Buena Vista, Quincy House offers business travellers seamless connectivity and an authentic neighbourhood feel, Yang said. “We've seen particularly strong interest from solo business travellers on extended assignments, or individuals relocating to Singapore.”

Bookings longer than six days are on the rise, she said, adding that travellers appreciate the balance of a private space and convenient amenities of Holland Village. “For example, many guests have mentioned how much they enjoy eating at Holland Drive Food Centre and they loved working at our co-working spaces at The Living Room,” Yang said.

Far East Hospitality has a pipeline of serviced residences for Singapore and is expanding its Quincy Qurates partnership programme to offer guests more perks, she added.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
