Daily Markets Briefing: STI up 1.31%; Top stock is UOB

UOB is the top stock with a 5% increase.

The Straits Times Index (STI) closed at 4,891.450, up 1.31% on Friday, 23 January, at 5:21 p.m.

United Overseas Bank Limited was the most active stock, followed by Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Ltd. (+3.40%) and CapitaLand Investment Limited (+1.67%).

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) Pte. Ltd. and City Developments Ltd. were at the foot.
