Samko Timber appoints Johan Yanto as Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Yanto will replace Untoro Angkawijaya, who had been given a new responsibility in the Group to oversee/develop a new business unit.

The Board of Samko Timber approves the appointment of Mr Johan Yanto, having reviewed his qualifications and experience.

The Board was of the view that the senior management team of the Group needed to be strengthened by the addition of a Chief Financial Officer ("CFO"), since the Company’s current CFO, Mr Untoro Angkawijaya, had been given a new responsibility in the Group to oversee/develop a new business unit. The addition of Mt. Yanto will enable Mr Untoro Angkawijaya to focus on the new business unit..

Mr. Yanto will oversee all financial matters of the Group. 

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Yanto was Finance Director for Indonesian operations of M.P. Evans Group PLC from 2009 to 2011.

He was also the Vice President/ Assistant to CEO of PT Smart Tbk (Sinarmas Group) from 2007 to 2009.
