Amtek Engineering appoints Sheila Ng Won Lein as Deputy Chief Executive Officer

She will continue to be the company's Chief Financial Officer, the position she held since 2007.

Amtek Engineering announced the appointment of Sheila Ng Won Lein as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Ng, who is currently an Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, will be promoted to Deputy Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 July 2012. She will continue to be the Chief Financial Officer.

Ms. Ng has demonstrated outstanding capabilities and competence and is the most eligible candidate for the position of Deputy CEO. The Nominating Committee has considered Ms. Ng's contributions and experience, has recommended her promotion to the Board for approval.

Ms Ng, 46, will assist the CEO in the direction and strategy of the Group, according to an Amtek Engineering report.

In the past, she worked as Chief Financial Officer of GES International Ltd from 2000 to 2007.
