DBS hopes to cash in on Resorts World

DBS hopes to cash in on Resorts World

DBS will be the first bank to open a branch at Resorts World Sentosa.

A network of 17 DBS ATMs and 4 AXS stations will be set-up within the Resort. DBS will also provide transactional banking services for the resort’s operations and support its employee benefits programme.

The branch also seems prepared to receive high traffic numbers and the high net worth individuals it can likely expect. The DBS RWS branch will have meeting rooms instead of counters so that customers can transact with added privacy. The bank will extend its working hours from 10am to 8pm on Mondays to Saturdays, and on Sundays from 11am to 6pm. A section for priority banking customers will also open within the branch, called the DBS Treasures Centre after Chinese New Year.

DBS will be the official banking partner of Resorts World. In partnership with RWS, DBS will offer full banking services and special privileges such as discounted entry prices to selected attractions and dining privileges for all the DBS / POSB cardholders at over 60 food and beverage outlets within the resort.

The DBS RWS branch will officially open on 25 January 2010.
