Global Logistic Properties appoints Wei Benhua as Director
He was an Advisor to the People's Bank of China from 2008 to 2010.
The Board of Global Logistic Properties announced the appointment of Wei Benhua as Director. The Nominating Committee has recommended the appointment of Wei Benhua as an Independent Director of the Company and the Board of Directors has approved the appointment based on his qualifications and working experience.
At present Mr Wei Benhua, 65, is also Non-Executive Independent Director of Beijing Hualian Department Store Company Limited since June 2008. Prior to this he was Chief Executive Officer, ASEAN + 3(China, Japan and Korea) of Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) from May 2011 to May 2012 and Advisor to the People’s Bank of China from Feb 2008 to Jan 2010, according to a Global Logistic Properties report.
This signals chemical firm Eastman’s commitment to its Asian clients.
