Inflation seen to hit 6% in Q1 2011

The possible further monetary tightening by the MAS in April is seen to be favorable, OCBC said.

However, OCBC notes that the latest official rhetoric had been crafted to strike a fine balance.

In Asia, the inflation dynamic has increasingly captured the market's attention but regional currencies have fortunately been cushioned by a somewhat DXY profile in recent weeks.
