Job postings hit 4-year low in April 2025: Indeed
Year-on-year, it fell to 16.6%.
Job postings in Singapore fell 2.7% in April, marking the fourth consecutive month of decline and the lowest since May 2021, Indeed reported.
Year-on-year, postings fell 16.6% and approximately 41% below their pandemic-era peak.

According to Indeed, growth in logistics support job postings slowed from 10.9% in March to 5.9% in April, whilst demand for data analytics professionals surged, rising from fourth to second among top-performing job categories.
Meanwhile, job postings in almost every sector remain above their pre-pandemic baseline, with postings in 14% of sectors more than double pre-pandemic levels.
“While job creation in Singapore is gradually cooling, the labour market remains resilient. Low unemployment and persistent skill shortages suggest underlying strength—but many businesses are holding their breath in a world clouded by economic and geopolitical uncertainty,” Callam Pickering, APAC Senior Economist at Indeed, said.
