Lendlease REIT completes PLQ Mall deal, deploys $234.5m placement funds

About $45.5m was also earmarked for fees and debt reduction.

Lendlease Global Commercial REIT has completed the acquisition of a 70% stake in PLQ Mall via units in PLQM Trust and 70% of the trustee‑manager of PLQM Trust, according to a filing.

The transaction was financed through a private placement launched on 5 November 2025, which raised gross proceeds of approximately $280.0m. Of this, $234.5m (83.7%) has been applied to fund the consideration for the sale units and shares, slightly above the allocated amount disclosed earlier.

The remaining $45.5m (16.3%) will be used to cover professional fees and expenses related to the acquisition and placement, and to pare down existing debt.

The manager said the reallocation reduced proceeds originally earmarked for debt repayment by $0.2m.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
