Temasek to raise stake in Italy's Ermenegildo Zegna to 10%

Temasek Holdings is increasing its stake in Italian luxury group, Ermenegildo Zegna, to 10% by purchasing 14.1 million treasury shares at $8.95 each.

Upon completion, Ermenegildo Zegna Group will receive a total cash consideration of $162.6m (US$126.4m).

Nagi Hamiyeh, head of EMEA of Temasek, is also expected to join Ermenegildo Zegna’s board of directors in June 2026.

The transaction is expected to close by 30 July 2025.
