A high-end bicycle store just opened in River Valley Road

Byx is determined to push the service ethos and standards in the industry.

BYX, located at 403, River Valley Road (corner Zion Rd) is aiming to be Singapore’s leading distributor, showroom, and service centre for mid- level and high-end performance bicycles: Niner, Stevens, Fuji and Kestrel. “Our aim is to emphasize and maximize customer experience. We operate in a pleasant and centrally located showroom that fosters a unique and enjoyable atmosphere—ideally suited to become a meeting point for riders,” said Byx head Daniel Loo.

Byx store opened on Dec 17.

Byx makes sure that customers get the best service, both along the way and after your purchase. We stay in contact with our customers by developing a cycling community, sharing regional activity information, promoting club rides, holding evening meet- ups, and arranging group training sessions.

“We are proud to be the representatives of the sport’s top international road, trial, and mountain bike brands. Not only because of the manufacturer’s uncompromising quality, product range, and design innovation but also because they share the same passion and enthusiasm for cycling as us.”

Loo said that Byx will look to develop the regional distribution of its bike brands, and hopes to open another two shops in Singapore.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
