Jardine Cycle & Carriage appoints David Alexander Newbigging as Group Managing Director

Mr Newbigging’s previous jobs include CEO of Jardine Engineering and General Manager of IKEA Hong Kong.

The Nominating Committee (“NC”) of Jardine Cycle & Carriage has reviewed the background, qualifications and experience of David Alexander Newbigging and recommended his appointment. The Board, having considered the NC’s recommendation, has approved Mr Newbigging’s appointment as a Director and Group Managing Director

Mr Newbigging will be responsible for the overall business and operations of the Group, according to a Jardine Cycle and Carriage report.

From Aug 2008 to present Mr. Newbigging has been the Chief Executive of Jardine Engineering Corporation. Before this he was the General Manager of IKEA Hong Kong.
