Asia Pacific Financial Advisory Leader

Jiak See leads Deloitte Asia Pacific's Financial Advisory (FA) practice. She is a member of both the Deloitte Global FA Executive Committee and the Deloitte Asia Pacific Executive Committee. She leverages 30 years of extensive experience to advise clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), fund raising, IPO and growth strategy, across a spectrum of industries. She also plays the leadership role in developing and driving the FA business that covers M&A, economic and commercial advisory, infrastructure, forensic, investments, restructuring among others. Jiak See’s passion is developing talent and giving back to the community. She serves as a board member of the Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise (raiSE) and the Yellow Ribbon Fund. Jiak See spearheaded Deloitte's Women in Leadership program for FA, where she mentors female professionals across Asia Pacific to nourish the next generation of leaders.
Jiak See holds a Masters degree in Commerce (1st Class Honours) from the University of Auckland in New Zealand. She is a fellow of ISCA (Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants) and also a fellow Chartered Accountant of CA ANZ (Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand).


Gaurav Modi
EY Asean and Singapore Consulting Leader

Gaurav is EY Asean and Singapore Consulting Leader. In his role, Gaurav provides strategic leadership to Consulting services, spanning Business Consulting, Technology Consulting and People Advisory Services. He is also responsible for business performance, client service and talent development for Consulting services in Asean. The overall EY Consulting services in Asean comprise over 100 partners and about 3,000 people in EY member firms across 14 geographies.
Gaurav has worked with various global consulting and technology companies in Asia-Pacific and comes with a deep understanding of the technology and its implications combined with sound knowledge of the Asia-Pacific market. Previously, Gaurav was Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Southeast Asia with a global leader in consulting and concurrently led the telecommunications sector for Asia-Pacific and Japan.
Gaurav is passionate about digital, and its impact on business and the broader society. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Industrial Engineering and an MBA in Management and Strategy. He has also attended executive education programs focusing on strategy and mergers and acquisitions.


Irving Low
Head of Advisory (Consulting)
KPMG Singapore
Irving is a partner in KPMG in Singapore and has been with KPMG for over 30 years, having worked in both the London and Singapore offices. As the Co-Head of Advisory (Singapore and Indonesia), he is responsible for the Advisory businesses and practices across Management Consulting and Risk Consulting. Irving is a member of the firm’s Senior Executive Committee which oversees the firm’s strategic and operational excellence. His key area of practice is in corporate governance, where he is also the KPMG APAC Leader for Board Advisory Services. He has undertaken numerous corporate governance reviews for both public and private organisations in light of the renewed focus in this area. He is a frequent invited guest and speaker at board meetings and presentations as well as public forums on corporate governance.
Irving is a Board member of the Singapore Tyler Institute (STPI) and also sits on the Advisory Board for the School of Accountancy for the Singapore Management University. Together with the other Board of Advisors, they are tasked to help shape the future of the accounting profession. Irving has also been recently appointed to the Board of the Singapore Repertory Theatre.
In addition, Irving is a member of CPA Australia Sub-committee for the Public Sector.


Greg Unsworth
Digital Business Leader,

Greg is PwC Singapore’s Digital Business Leader and has previously served as PwC’s technology sector leader for the Asia Pacific region. He oversees a team of 20 partners and 400 professional staff who help their clients manage business risks, enhance governance and controls programmes, comply with regulations and build digital trust.
He also serves on the firm’s Leadership Team and has significant experience advising clients around digital business initiatives and
managing risks. Greg was instrumental in establishing PwC’ Singapore’s “reimagine digital” programne and establishing the Digital Innovation Office. The reimagine digital programme is focused on transforming the delivery of services through technology
platforms and new capabilities, building talent capability and services to address clients’ digital agenda as well as investing in
development of key digital assets including AI enabled business and smart nation imperatives.

Nomination is open to outstanding companies headquartered in Singapore with excellent projects, initiatives, products, and services.

Companies may submit up to three (3) different entries in the nominations.
-
There will be one winning company per industry.
-
Nomination is free of charge. If your company wins, you are obliged to proceed booking the winner's package to maximize the benefits of your win.
ELIGIBILITY
The awards programme is open to local and homegrown companies in Singapore. The company must be headquartered in Singapore. Companies in the following industries are not eligible to join the awards programme: cryptocurrency, tobacco, multilevel marketing, and products with claim of health benefits.
Eligible companies may nominate any initiatives that highlight their excellent work such as:
✔ outstanding project or service launched for or with client/s
✔ innovative internal practices or strategies
The initiative must have been launched or had upgrades, in part or in full, within the last 24 calendar months.

The entries will be reviewed by the judges based on the following:

Uniqueness & Innovation - Did the project introduce new or cutting-edge innovation?

Effectiveness & Impact - Did the project achieve its objectives and targets? What measures have been used to assess its success? What was the impact on your company and industry? If the project is a solution provided for a client, what is the overall feedback of your client?

Dynamism - Is the project flexible to changes and progressive opportunities?

Provide your project name, 500-word write-up, client feedback (if any), key achievements, and project photos.

What can I nominate?
You can nominate any initiatives that highlight your company's excellent work such as:
✔ outstanding project or service launched for or with client/s
✔ innovative internal practices or strategies
The initiative must have been launched or had upgrades, in part or in full, within the last 24 calendar months.
How do I nominate?
- Go to the online nomination form and read the nomination guidelines.
- Fill in the required details about your company and contact person for the nomination.
- Select your industry category.
- Provide your project title, 500-word write-up, client feedback (if any), key achievements, and photos of the project that you are nominating.
- Wait for the nomination confirmation email and acknowledge it once received.
Note:
Photos are required while supporting documents are optional but will highly increase the chances of winning.
Can I send more than one entry for our company?
Yes, you may submit up to 3 entries. Each entry must be a different project. One online form is equivalent to one entry so if you are nominating multiple entries, please submit them separately.
How many winners per category?
There will be one winning company per industry.
Is there a cost to nominate?
Nomination is free. If your company wins, you are obliged to book any of the winner's package options. To know more about the pricing and entitlements, please email bianca@charltonmediamail.com.
Will there be an awards dinner this year?
Yes, a physical awarding ceremony will be held on May 25, 2023. Winners will gather in the prestigious awards dinner not only to celebrate their well-deserved award but also to network with clients, industry peers, colleagues, and co-winners across the industry.
Further details and guidelines will be disclosed to the winners upon announcement of results via email.
When is the deadline to submit an entry?
The deadline for this year's nomination entries is on 3 March 2023, Friday.
